CZYM SIĘ ZAJMUJĘ

Jestem pracownikiem naukowym w Katedrze Ekologii i Zoologii Kręgowców Wydziału Biologii i Ochrony Środowiska Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego.

Moje zainteresowania naukowe koncentrują się na ekologii wód słodkich, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem dynamiki ewolucyjnej gatunków wodnych, interakcji z gatunkami inwazyjnymi oraz ochrony bioróżnorodności. Badam procesy koewolucyjne, w szczególności rolę ekologiczną małży słodkowodnych oraz wpływ przekształceń antropogenicznych na ekosystemy wodne. Moje badania obejmują również analizę wpływu stresorów środowiskowych, takich jak zasolenie czy zanieczyszczenie plastikiem, na społeczności wodne. Dodatkowo angażuję się w rozwój metod monitoringu środowiskowego oraz ochronę zagrożonych taksonów, takich jak słodkowodne małże z rodziny Sphaeriidae.

Ponadto sprawuję opiekę nad Studenckim Kołem Naukowym Ekologii Zwierząt.
