Banking and Digital Finance Study Programme
Thanks to the combination of the experience of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz in research and teaching in the area of finance and computer science, as well as economics, statistics, econometrics and sociology, the University of Lodz, as the first university in Poland, has created studies in its own study programme – BANKING AND DIGITAL FINANCE. The MA studies also include the disciplines of management sciences and law, and they are a continuation of BA studies in this field. The programme places particular emphasis on the ability to obtain and analyse data.
The study programme fits into the area of education in the field of social sciences (finance) and also takes into account some learning outcomes from the area of exact sciences (computer science). Thanks to combining these qualifications, its graduates, having in-depth knowledge, skills and social competences related to finance, will be able to understand digital technology and be able to apply it in business. The study programme has been created in cooperation with mBank and Accenture.
The studies are practical in nature. The educational content included in the curriculum focuses on practical learning outcomes: they enable the acquisition of practical skills and the creation of desired attitudes expected on the labour market.
