The University of Lodz is an open institution that encourages study and equalizes opportunities for people with special needs and/or disabilities to access higher education.

Thanks to the people working at the University of Lodz's Center for Support and Accessibility (formerly ACW UL), you will learn how to respond adequately to the needs of students with disabilities and/or special needs. For administrative and teaching staff at the UŁ, we organize workshop and information series on:

  • Ways of providing support to students with disabilities and/or special needs,
  • Adequate response to various situations arising from these disabilities
  • Recognizing special educational needs and adapting requirements to the abilities of students with various deficits.

We conduct group workshops or individual meetings.

If:

  •  you need individual guidance on how to adapt teaching materials to the needs of a student with disabilities,
  •  you are interested in participating in workshops on the functioning of people with special needs,
  •  you would like to find out what forms of support we offer to candidates/students/doctoral students with disabilities and/or difficulties,
  •  you are interested in savoir-vivre towards people with disabilities,
