When admitting new students, we follow the principle of equal rights and responsibilities. This means that candidates with disabilities and/or chronic diseases, who connect their future with the University of Lodz are subject to the same admission procedure. In order to take part in the recruitment for the University of Lodz, please visit our recruitment portal.

If you need support in the recruitment process please contact the Support and Accessibility Centre of the University of Lodz.

The form of support is determined on an individual basis and it includes, e.g.:

  • adjusting the form of exam/interview (the change of a written form into the oral one and the other way round)
  • adaptations of examination materials (e.g. enlarged print, electronic version)
  • possibility of using a specialised assistive equipment (e.g. Braille keyboard, magnifying glass)
  • using the services of a sign interpreter
  • using the transport service

Depending on the type and severity of disability, we can also offer other forms of suport that meet your needs.

IMPORTANT! The UL Support and Accessibility Centre does not conduct a separate recruitment for candidates with disabilities. The UL Service Centre for Students and PhD Candidates is responsible for recruitment of all applicants.

If you need support in the recruitment process, please contact the UL Support and Accessibility Centre.

In order to do so you need to:

  • fill in a relevant application,
  • deliver it to the UL Support and Accessibility Centre within 14 days before the scheduled day of the exam/interview. You can deliver the application form in person, by post or by e-mail.

We will inform you about the decision made and the next steps by e-mail or by phone.
