The cooperation will be based on, among other things:
- the participation of representatives of PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A. in the creation and development of the study curricula conducted at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz as part of the Partner Forum operating at the faculty;
- cooperation in the organisation of scientific conferences, scientific seminars, training courses and expert opinions, in particular as part of the Expert Knowledge Centre implemented by the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz;
- enabling students of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz to complete internships at PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A.;
- encouraging employees of PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A. to improve their qualifications by participating in studies, training and postgraduate studies conducted at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz;
- content-related support for students and doctoral students writing their dissertations, including providing materials consistent with the subject of the theses under the terms specified in applicable legal provisions and internal regulations in force in the company.
In addition, the faculty and the state-owned company will cooperate in joint scientific, research and development projects, as well as in the field of scientific advice and consultations.
The agreement signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz, dr hab. Monika Bogucka-Felczak, Associate Professor the University of Lodz, and the Vice-President of the Management Board of PGE for Mining, Waldemar Lutkowski, will also contribute to increasing research opportunities for MA students, doctoral students and scientists interested in the energy sector.
