We are very happy that the first students have passed their diploma exams and are already graduates. We know that they plan to connect their future with Poland and the Polish language, which makes us even more pleased and motivates us to continue. We are all the more proud that the students, in fact already graduates, created very good theses and bachelor's projects, and during the exam they presented themselves very well. This class of Studies on Poland with English was very important for us, because they were students from Ukraine who fled the full-scale war and found refuge within the walls of the Faculty of Philology. It should be noted that the students more than fulfilled their obligations – some of them have already passed the state certificate exam at the C1 level, although the study programme assumes reaching the B2+ level, which indicates their enormous motivation
– underlines Dr Mateusz Gaze, who taught as part of this study programme from the first semester.
The next group of students of this study programme will take their BA exams in 2 weeks, i.e. on 26 March. We keep our fingers crossed for successful defenses of their theses, and wish the newly minted graduates all the best in the next stages of education and in their professional lives!
