Uwolnij Energię 2.0 [Free Your Energy 2.0] – a run and a picnic at Rogowska
Despite very difficult weather conditions (heat above 32oC and severe storms forecast), about 200 people decided to take part in the university running event on Sunday, 30 June of the current year. The main race was completed by approximately 150 runners, and the children's and youth race by 35 participants.

Congratulations!
All the registered participants received a starter pack containing a T-shirt and a commemorative medal. Catering was also provided. Children could take advantage of inflatable slides and have their faces painted. Statuettes and university gifts were prepared for the best runners taking part in the race. At the end of the competition, a voucher for a weekend stay for two in the Low Beskids was drawn from among all participants.

Running workouts for the University of Lodz employees
We would also like to remind you about running workouts for the University of Lodz staff which are held every week and conducted by Dr Piotr Kędzia from the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Lodz. This is a great opportunity to prepare for the competition under the supervision of a professional coach, an Olympian from Beijing and Athens. The workouts take place on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. in Park 3 Maja or Zdrowie. Details about the location are provided via the FB group Biegacze UŁ.
The running workouts are carried out as part of the "Uwolnij Energię 2.0!" [Free Your Energy 2.0] project. The project is financed under the "Social Responsibility of Science" programme of the Minister of Education and Science.
