On 7 July the first stage of the recruitment process at the University of Lodz came to an end. During this stage the candidates could register in the recruitment system and choose study programmes of their interest.
The 1st stage of the recruitment in numbers:
The number of candidates: 12 179
The number of applications: 23 405
The most popular fields of study were psychology with over 16 people applying for a place, as well as forensic biology (over 11 people per place), management and English philology (over 10 people per place).
Marketing, journalism, media and communication design, new media and digital culture, and Spanish philology with English were also very popular.
Next step
The recruitment results will be published on the candidates' individual accounts in the recruitment system on 12-14 July. The required documents must be submitted between 15 and 19 July. Their list as well as the place and date of submission can be found on the rekrutacja.uni.lodz.pl/en-gb/ website, in the "offer" tab. All the qualified persons who complete the formalities indicated in the IRK (Internet Recruitment of Candidates) system within the deadline will be admitted to studies at the University of Lodz. The list of admitted people will be published by 28 July.
Recruitment for full-time second-cycle studies is still ongoing, while recruitment for part-time (weekend) first- and second-cycle studies will start on 28 July. Details on recruitment at the University of Lodz can be found on: www.uni.lodz.pl/rekrutacja.
