Admissions at the University of Lodz for full-time BA studies and full-time uniform Master's studies in the academic year 2024/25 have ended. This year, those interested in studying could apply for 91 full-time study programmes, with over 7,000 places waiting for them.

The first stage of admissions at the University of Lodz, during which candidates could register on the admissions portal and choose their study programmes ended on Thursday, 11 July of the current year. 

The first stage of admissions for the academic year 2024/25 in numbers

  • Total number of candidates: 11392
    BA studies: 9058, uniform Master's studies: 2548, MA studies: 1103
  • Total number of applications (submissions): 22431
    BA studies: 18217, uniform Master's studies: 2754, MA studies: 1460

The most popular study programmes included: 

  • Psychology – 15.14 people per place 
  • Forensic Biology – 10.31 people per place 
  • Marketing – 8.97 people per place 
  • English Studies – 8.51 people per place 
  • Business Management – 8.3 people per place 
  • Management – 8.03 people per place 
  • Journalism, Media and Communication Design – 7 people per place 
  • International Relations – 6.6 people per place 
  • New Media and Digital Culture – 6.16 people per place 
  • Theatre Production and Organisation of Shows – 5.92 people per place  

The study programmes that were most frequently chosen by prospective students were also:

  • Finance and Investments – 5.53 people per place
  • Spanish Studies with English – 5.5 people per place
  • Physical and Health Education – 5.32 people per place
  • Business Analytics – 5.32 people per place
  • Creative Writing – 5.27 people per place

What's next? 

  • Admissions results will be published on individual accounts of candidates in the admissions system between 16-18 July. 
  • The required documents must be submitted in a paper form between 19-23 July (after being qualified for studies). Their list as well as the place and deadline for submission can be found on the cards of individual study programmes on the website rekrutacja.uni.lodz.pl in the "offer" tab.

All the qualified people who complete the formalities indicated in the IRK (Internet Recruitment of Candidates) within this deadline, i.e. provide a set of required documents in a paper version, will be able to study at the University of Lodz. The list of admitted students will be announced by 31 July.   

University admissions continue 

  • The second round of admissions at the University of Lodz will start on 1 August and will include those study programmes for which the quota of places will not be filled by the basic deadline. 
  • Admissions for full-time BA studies is still ongoing,  
  • while admissions for part-time BA and MA studies will start on 29 July.
