Dr hab. Robert Zakrzewski, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz, collects the letter of appointment from the hands of the Minister of National Education, Barbara Nowacka.
Dr hab. Robert Zakrzewski, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz, in the past term served as the University of Lodz Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Quality of Education. In the term 2016-2020 he was Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Quality of Education at the University of Lodz Faculty of Chemistry.
Dr hab. Robert Zakrzewski was born in 1970 in Lodz. He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the University of Lodz. He defended his doctoral dissertation, obtaining the degree of Doctor of Chemical Sciences in 1997 and in 2010 became a doctor with a habilitation degree.
His main area of interest and research work is in the field of chemical sciences, in the discipline of chemistry and concerns the development of new analytical methods used for the determination of biologically active compounds. The second area is the study of complex skills of pupils and students in teaching chemistry.
Dr hab. Robert Zakrzewski has been a member of the Polish Chemical Society since 1995 and the Chairman of the Chemistry Teaching Section since 2015. In the term 2019-2022, he was a member of the Management Board of Polskie Towarzystwo Diagnostyki Edukacyjnej [Polish Society for Educational Diagnostics]. He is a member of the expert teams of the Ministry of National Education regarding the teaching of chemistry, and in the years 2015-2019 he was a member of the scientific council of the Central Examination Board.
