Literaturoznawczyni z UŁ stypendystką programu Fulbrighta

Dr hab. Małgorzata Myk has received a Fulbright Scholarship. Thanks to the received grant, the researcher from the Institute of English Studies at the University of Lodz will carry out a project in Utah devoted to the issues of space, time and sound in the latest conceptual North American poetry.

Fulbright Senior Research Award is a postdoctoral scholarship for Polish scholars employed at Polish universities or research institutions. The purpose of the grant is to conduct a research or a research and teaching project in the USA. The literary scholar will be carrying out a research project titled "Poetics of Radical Duration: Sonic A(na)rchives in Twenty-First Century North American Poetry", in cooperation with Prof. Craig Dworkin, Department of English, University of Utah.

Dr hab. Małgorzata Myk has been working at the Department of North American Literature and Culture at the University of Lodz since 2008. In the years 2005-2008 she studied American literature at the Department of English at the University of Maine in Orono (USA). In the past she cooperated with, among others: the National Poetry Foundation (Maine, USA), where she was involved in the editorial process of the scientific journal Paideuma: Studies in American and British Modernism.
