Międzynarodowy konkurs EU TalentOn – II Open Call

The call for the international EU TalentOn competition for ambitious young researchers is open until 20 May. During a several-day hackathon, which will take place from 9-14 September in the European City of Science Katowice, together with ambitious young researchers from all over Europe, participants will develop innovative solutions that can improve the quality of life. The winning team will receive a cash prize.

EU TalentOn is a competition addressed to young researchers aged between 21 and 35, from European countries and countries associated to the Horizon Europe programme. The idea of EU TalentOn is to encourage people to come up with new, creative solutions to major challenges in the world of today and tomorrow. The task of each team will be to prepare the best possible scientific solution to a problem in the area of one of the five missions of the European Union, linked to the 5 EU Missions of Horizon Europe:

  1. Adaptation to Climate Change
  2. Cancer Prevention and Care
  3. Restore our Ocean and Water
  4. 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030
  5. A Soil Deal for Europe 

There is a prize pool of €75,000 for the winners. 

The first call ended on 20 May. Currently, the second call has been launched, which run until 7 July.
