Błąd w algorytmie – sztuczna inteligencja i dyskryminacja

Artificial intelligence is everywhere and affects everyone – from deciding what content people see on their social media feeds to determining who will receive state benefits. The AI technologies are typically based on algorithms that make predictions to support or even fully automate the decision-making process. AI Work Team – the research team for conducting studies on the consequences of the development of AI and other modern technologies for the labour market, labour law and social insurance invites you to join the next meeting of the Discussion Club on 8 May (6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.).

One of the biggest problems related to the operation of artificial intelligence in many social and economic aspects is the issue of algorithmic discrimination. It may be a result of improper construction of the algorithm, its implementation, as well as incomplete input data. The scale and importance of this problem is evidenced, among others, by the fact that it has been the subject of a report by the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights. The report is available on the website of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. The problem is more and more often noticed in the legal doctrine, and it is certainly worth talking about.

Introduction to the discussion will be presented by Dr Joanna Kulesza.
