Still not sure if you should apply? Read on!
The #UniLodz Ambassador is a programme addressed to the University of Lodz students who want to participate actively in the life of the university and support it in the area of everyday communication with the academic community. Its participants have a chance to work closely with PR, social media and event management specialists, who are employed by the largest employer in Lodz. They also receive remuneration of PLN 800 gross per month.
The programme offers a wide range of opportunities! We are looking for people with different personalities and skills. Are you a social activist and enjoy public speaking? You’re welcome! Do you prefer to work behind the camera and create content for social media, but don't feel comfortable in front of the lens? We will find the perfect role for you too!
What do participants of the previous edition say about the programme?
Nearly 200 people have taken part in the calls for all three editions of the #UniLodz Ambassador programme.
Of all the applications for the third edition, we invited twenty candidates for interviews, from which we managed to select the final six:
- Julia Szczecińska from the Faculty of Management,
- Anna Antczak from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology,
- Mateusz Pietras from the Faculty of Philology,
- Jerzy Gałęziewski from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science,
- Karolina Kołacz from the Faculty of Philology
- and Zofia Nyka from the Faculty of Law and Administration.
The programme provided its participants with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the specifics of working in the social media, PR and broadly understood marketing industries. How do the Ambassadors themselves assess the experiences of the last few months?
The decision to take part in the call for the #UniLodz Ambassador programme was one of the best decisions I have made during my studies. The year of being an ambassador taught me a lot, including how our university works, I took part in creating and implementing various initiatives, and organising celebrations. It gave me skills, such as those related to creating and editing films, or those related to teamwork. I am extremely happy that I have had the opportunity to meet and work with cool people, both those at the university, University of Lodz employees and other ambassadors. I feel convinced that the memories of this ambassador year, as well as the friendships formed during it, will stay with me for life
– concludes Jerzy Gałęziewski, #UniLodz Ambassador in the 3rd edition.
Julia Szczecińska, who took part in the same – 3rd edition, adds:
The #UniLodz Ambassador programme is a unique initiative. Thanks to it, we students can see how such a large organisation as the University of Lodz operates from the inside. It is a great opportunity to get to know social media and the people who create our university. The programme was an incredible adventure for me, which further convinced me that studying does not have to be boring! Thanks to it, you will certainly learn how to write, edit or act in front of the camera with greater freedom. Do not hesitate and sign up today!
