Other students, in accordance with paragraph 48 of the Rules of study at UL of 14 June 2019 have to pay fees for the university-wide activities carried out outside the study curriculum in the amount specified in the Regulation of the UL Rector on the amount of fees for educational services at UL in the academic year 2021/2022 – Annex No. 15 (in Polish). In such a case, you will need to submit an application to the Dean's Office of your home Faculty for permission to take part in the university-wide activities (for more details please contact the UL Service Centre for Students and PhD Candidates).
What is important, registering for an activity in the UsosWeb system (this also applies to the Polish Film Academy) makes this activity obligatory for the student and its completion is required to get a credit for the semester.
Any changes to the list may be made NO LATER than until 25 October this year. After this date, in order to be withdrawn from a course which is part of the pool of the university-wide activities, you must obtain permission from the Dean of your Faculty.
After completing online registration, participants of the university-wide activities should immediately report to their Faculty coordinators of those activities (see the list of coordinators below) in order to complete the formalities.
Doctoral students who wish to take part in a specific university-wide activity do not participate in the electronic registration. Instead, they should contact the activity instructor and the Faculty coordinator of the activity. The classes/lectures which are not part of the doctoral studies curriculum are subject to a fee in the amount specified in the Regulation of the UL Rector on the amount of fees for educational services at UL in the academic year 2021/2022 – Annex No. 14 (in Polish). The fee for the Polish Film Academy is the same as in the case of students.
The fee for the Polish Film Academy in the amount of PLN 150 per semester is collected by the National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute, the organiser of the course.
During the weekly classes you can take part in nearly 100 film screenings and lectures by eminent film studies experts from all over Poland, and in author’s meetings with artists.
Schedule of the classes in the winter semester will be available on the website of the project.
Participation in the classes is possible only after purchasing a pass at the box office of Kinematograf cinema or online in the sales system of the Museum of Cinematography from 1 October 2021.
The number of places is limited.
