What inspired you to become a scientist?
My interest in the diversity and richness of human artistic expression, visible especially in contemporary works, has led me towards the history of art. My fascination with human creativity and its evolution over the centuries has prompted me to take a scientific path.
What impact does your work have on the surrounding reality?
As an art historian, I influence society by discovering and interpreting the meanings of works of art, which helps to understand the history, culture and values of past eras. Additionally, I am committed to supporting people with disabilities, facilitating their access to art and creating conditions conducive to their fuller participation in culture. I hope that through my research and practical activities I can contribute to building a more inclusive cultural environment and stimulate reflection on our common heritage.
How do you understand the term: profession of a scientist?
For me, the profession of a scientist is not only about the exploration of facts and theories, but also the ability to think creatively, analyse and interpret. This means an abiding passion for expanding knowledge, sharing it with others and contributing to the development of the field in which I work. It is also an ethical commitment to the reliability of research and care for the credibility of science.
