Maciej Dunajski is a Professor of Mathematical Physics at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Clare College, Cambridge.
Maciej Dunajski pursued his studies in physics at the Technical University of Lodz and later earned his PhD at the University of Oxford, working under the supervision of Roger Penrose, with whom he continues to collaborate to this day. He received his habilitation and professorship at the University of Lodz. He is involved in theoretical physics (Einstein's General Theory of Relativity and the mathematical theory of black holes) and mathematics (geometry and differential equations). He is the author of two books and more than 70 scientific publications.
On behalf of the London Mathematical Society, he is involved in helping sub-Saharan African countries develop mathematical and natural sciences.
