BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

JURCZAK Tomasz,

Professor of the University of Lodz, Graduate of the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of Lodz;

since 2020, head of the UNESCO Chair of Ecohydrology and Applied Ecology of the University of Lodz, since 2019 plenipotentiary of the Rector for climate and environmental policy of the University of Lodz, since 2003 associated with the University of Lodz;

author of many articles in scientific and popular journals on ecohydrology, adaptation to climate change, assessment of water quality, problems related to eutrophication, cyanobacteria and cyanotoxins, and the use of biotechnology (including nature based solution) to improve the water quality and adaptation to climate change
