Zdzisław Kupczyk comes from the cooperative banking sector. He has worked at Bank BPS since its establishment in 2002, initially as a Branch Manager in Sieradz, then for 10 years as a Director of the Warsaw Regional Branch. Prior to that, he served as a President of the Management Board of the Warta Cooperative Bank.
Since 27 March 2013 Vice President of the Management Board of Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości, from 24 March 2014 acting President of the Management Board of Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości. From 27 January 2015 to October 2019 President of the Management Board of Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości. Prior to his career in banking, he held positions in state and economic administration, always in managerial positions, since 1980.
He completed his studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz, postgraduate studies at the Wrocław School of Banking and the Wrocław University of Economics, in the field of "Modern Bank Management". He also completed postgraduate studies at the Central School of Planning and Statistics, in the field of "Economic Management".
