"Tempest of Being" reflects on the concept of crisis in the contemporary world, not only as a critical moment induced by political events, environmental conditions, and personal circumstances but also as a catalyst for self-reflection, change, and social unity.  The exhibition, which features works by artists with different interests and artistic practices, presents a variety of points of view, encouraging its viewers to reflect on how ongoing emergencies can compel us to evolve and transform, rethinking our relationship with ourselves, our societies, and more-than-human life.

Using mediums spanning from video to performance and interactive experiences, the students dive into their own concerns and establish complex reflections through their artistic practice and conceptual and material introspection.

The video works of artists such as Julia Czech and Joanna Dreczka establish connections between our inner worlds and natural surroundings, linking personal with environmental emergencies. The ongoing artistic research by Eryk Holesz explores the hindering cycle that characterises the relationship between advanced technology and environmental damage, while the interactive piece by Martyna Piotrowska explores the image of lichens in this critical context as a symbol of adaptability.

Reflecting on turmoil from within, the pieces of artists Mikołaj Nowosad and Katarzyna Skipirzepa delve into the instability of identity, from reflections on toxic masculinity to the intricacies of mental health. Magdalena Skotnicka and Borys Górski inquire into the interaction between human and nonhuman agents, and Marta Kosior explores the memory creating process that characterizes our thinking mechanism.
